Beautiful little family owned spot in the heart of evergreen. Decent prices, great portions, and full flavor. Several vegan options: they can replace heavy cream with coconut milk in any dish!

Great Indian food! I love how you can get anything with coconut milk. By far the best Indian food in Evergreen. I do wish they would play music inside their restaurant though, it can get awkwardly quiet at times.

I have eaten Indian and Himalayan food all over the world, including India and Nepal, and not easily impressed. Over the past few years I have eaten here dozens of times, happily surprised out of town guests and think this place is a gem. The menu covers all the bases but not so expansive that it is off-putting. More important is the consistently wonderful output from the kitchen. They also make a killer mango margarita. If you are looking for high end tour-de-force dining experience this is not your place. If you seek a great neighborhood Indian restaurant, this is for you. Peter S

It is my understanding that Colorado (Denver area specifically) is home to some of the greatest Napalese food in in the nation. I find this to be true. Ever since my trip to Nepal in 2018 I have been on the lookout for different Napalese restaurants - specifically momos and daal baht... My friend and I decided to go to this place. Chicken Momos: 4 stars. All of the momos I've ever eaten have been round (and usually vegetarian) but these were gyoza shaped (see photo) but still good. What I really enjoyed was the spicy tomato sauce that comes with the momos. Whether totally authentic or not, I would order this again. Chana Masala: 5 stars and a must. If you don't know; garbanzo beans in a yummy curry sauce! Omg so good. Lamb tikki masala: 5 stars! My friend and I originally bonded, nearly 20 years ago over lamb tikki masala in Los Angeles. The Lamb Tikki Masala at Cuisine of the Himalayas is 5 star and I highly recommend you order this dish. Flavorful, spice-forward tomato sauce with tender, moist pieces of lamb perfectly round out this dish. Get rice or naan and you have a complete 5 star meal! Garlic Naan: 5 stars What can I say? If you know, you know. Perfectly cooked throughout, great texture and deliciously toasted garlic make for a perfect naan. I should have ordered some to go. Service is 5 stars and I would come back in a heartbeat.

Excellent food overall. Dinner dishes individually prepared with great care. As it was a chilly evening, I decided to order the chai tea along with my lamb curry. The chai, like the food, is prepared individually and in the traditional method. Expect to wait the 15 minutes or so for the chai. When it arrives, you'll appreciate that it was worth the wait. The service is gracious.

We've enjoyed dinner here on so many occasions, I'm surprised I haven't taken the time to leave a review for this restaurant before now. We like everything we've ordered from here but our go-to are Chicken Tikka Masala, Aloo Gobi, Saag Paneer, and Naan on repeat. We're so glad to have Cuisine of the Himalayas in our neighborhood and, even if they weren't, we'd drive some distance to enjoy their thoughtfully, expertly prepared food.

Great lunch buffet value. Good flavors and selections. Server was friendly. Overall a great family run business with good food. The only thing that dampened the experience was that the first person (and also last person) that we see was pretty dismissive. I noticed he literally ignored everyone coming through the front door. Perhaps the lunch buffet crowd wasn't greeting-worthy? I would like to come back to this place and for them to stay open, hopefully that person can ignore people somewhere less visible. He's literally in the position where a host/hostess would usually offer a friendly face.

Delicious lunch at Cuisine of the Himalayas. Extensive menu and a lunch buffet. I had the chicken jalfrezi and my dining partner enjoyed the vegetable korma. The serving size was just right for me. Attentive service with frequent water filling. A solid choice.

This is the best paneer makhani I've ever had. The naan was also perfectly thin and soft. The samosas were perfectly spiced with cumin. The everest chai with rum highlights the tea, cardamom, and rum in balance. Run, don't walk.

After a long and hot hike, my husband and I were craving an icy drink and copious amounts of food. The restaurant we were originally going to ended up being closed on Mondays, so we ended up here and BOY am I happy! We were seated immediately in a cozy booth by a window and given a minute to peruse the menu. We started off with iced chai which took a long time to come out since they were brewing it on demand, but the flavor was delightful and it was the perfect amount of sweet without being cloying. For food we split the Chicken Saag - medium spice, the Chicken Tikka Masala Mish Mash (includes vegetables like green beans, bell peppers, cauliflower, potatoes, not just chicken and sauce) - mild spice, and Garlic Cheese Naan. The saag was creamy and flavorful with just a hint of spice and tender chunks of chicken breast. The tikka masala danced across my tastebuds with a slight sweetness while the vegetables added a wonderful texture difference, and the naan was quesadilla-style and loaded to the brim with garlic. We gorged ourselves and still had enough to take home for two meals worth of leftovers.
